Lakes and Fishing
You can enjoy fishing, hiking, ATV travel in the area, or a relaxing time on
the porch.
The Club has direct access to over 25 scenic and remote lakes in close
proximity to both the main lodge and back camp which produce only speckled
trout. Eight of these lakes are restricted to fly fishing only. Club members
tend to fly fish on the majority of lakes however, spinning gear is permitted on
all lakes except those specifically identified as fly fishing only.
Fish
more than one lake in a day and hike between lakes if you wish. Boats are
maintained on the majority of these lakes for use by the members.
The lakes are accessible by 4 - wheel drive vehicle and/or ATV. Members are
encouraged to use their own vehicles; however a number of camp vehicles are also
available for member usage.

Access is also available to additional lakes in the region which produce
pike, pickerel, and bass.
All lakes have wonderful lunch spots at which you can have a quiet rest or
cook your trout for lunch. Seldom will you see another individual(s) when
fishing.
The Club’s lakes annually produce over 1500 speckled trout ranging in size up
to 3 pounds. Yes, larger trout have been caught in the 4 to 6 pound range! The
Club maintains an annual stocking program to ensure continuing success.
Guided service is available if required.
The trout fishing season runs from early May to late September of each year.
